The University of Windsor invites applications for the position of Head, Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures for a term of up to five (5) years, commencing July 1, 2022. The candidate must hold a tenured position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University of Windsor and must be qualified to fulfil the duties and responsibilities of Head as stipulated in Schedule A of Senate Bylaw 5.
The Department of Languages, Literatures & Cultures is a dynamic environment. We are engaged in exciting and important scholarship. The Department of Languages, Literatures & Cultures in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences has 12 full-time faculty and 3 sessional lecturers with broad research interests.
