The Role

We are currently searching for a Field Installer  reporting to the Field Manager. This is a Full-Time Permanent opportunityThis position will be servicing the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Draught Services, a division within The Beer Store, is Canada’s oldest and largest draught service and equipment company established since 1947. We work with Brewers and Licensees towards the common goal of promoting the highest quality draught beer experience through industry leading installation, global partnerships, and an established US and Canadian dealer network. We offer nationwide installation, system cleaning and service, and support and offer Canada’s premier Keg repair service.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Engineer, design and install various dispense systems up to and including; draught beer, wine, coffee, and water. Assuring quality, standards and workmanship are maintained throughout adhering to draught Services specifications. 
  • Promote and sell products and services to existing / potential customers services through relationship-based approach.  Demonstrating and selecting those best suited to the customer’s needs keep abreast of product applications, market conditions, and competitive activities. 
  • Liaison, develop and maintain business relationships with all customers, project management teams and general contractors on and off site to leverage draught services strategies to maximize return on investment. 
  • Plan, organize, schedule, multiple complex installation assignments coordinating manpower, sub-contractors, inventory requisitions, and other trade professionals to maintain and stay on budget.  
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned

 

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience

 

  • High School Diploma / College diploma an asset 
  • 3-5 Years previous experience within the dispense industry 
  • Mechanical/Trade background preferred 
  • Self starter with the ability to work independently, excellent communication skills, strong customer service aptitude with attention to detail. 
  • Above average interpersonal communication, Strong organizational and scheduling time management abilities 
  • Basic accounting knowledge with computer skills for (Microsoft Office suite, outlook, Windows 10, Excel) 
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems 
  • Current valid Ontario driver’s license / clear drivers abstract 
  • Available to work 40 hours per week, with potential on-call and overtime. Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight shifts as needed 
  • Proficiency to use various hand tools, working from heights (ladders, lifts) and Physically fit and capable to lift heavy materials (75lbs) 
  • Visibly maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public, customers and co-workers 
  • Develop and maintain externally with customers and internally Team player with a positive, can do attitude with colleagues 
  • Ability to multi-task in an extremely busy and highly energetic environment
