As a Senior Data Analyst at National Bank, you will be joining a team of passionate individuals who are striving to change the world of banking. We are client-centric and work on projects to maximize business sector profitability and support decision-making on innovative advanced analytics projects.
You will report to the Marketing Business Intelligence Manager.
 
Your role:
  • Serve as a client data expert, develop in-depth knowledge of client and marketing data, and work closely and continuously with the various stakeholders
  • Help manage the marketing data ecosystem, including recurring production
  • Help define business rules and prepare datasets using reporting tools to make them available, thereby simplifying proactive decision making (e.g., dashboard, analysis, report, model, database)
  • Participate in the migration of marketing activities to big data environments
  • Use effective visualizations to present results, performance and trends
  • Make recommendations based on trends, observe objectives and key indicators, identify areas of risk and opportunity
  • Carry out specific analyses and present the results clearly and concisely

 

Required competencies

  • A bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience or a master’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience
  • Advanced proficiency in SAS and SQL
  • Knowledge of PowerBI tools
  • Proficiency in R and/or Python, an asset
  • Knowledge of big data environments (Snowflake, Hadoop and Spark), an asset
  • Bilingualism, spoken and written (English and French)

  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain concepts in plain language
  • Proactive and diligent
  • Strong ability to develop in an environment undergoing transformation
