Fluor Canada is looking for a dynamic and business-partner minded Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. Fluor strategically sources top domestic and international talent in support of small, medium and mega projects across Canada and in our Calgary and Vancouver office locations across five (5) business lines including energy & chemicals, mining & metals, infrastructure, power and government.

Day to Day Activities Include:
This position encompasses all aspects of domestic and international talent sourcing and is a critical partner to the business including senior leadership and hiring managers. You will provide direction and support to department and project site managers for the new hire recruitment process.
• Partner with hiring managers on current and anticipated hiring needs by identifying appropriate recruitment methods, create specific job descriptions, and understand general hiring grades and compensation
• Source resumes from Fluor’s applicant tracking system, LinkedIn, internet job boards and networking
• Negotiate and prepare employment offer letters for both domestic and international hires through to the onboarding process
• Work with Talent Acquisition technician to coordinate interviews and complete reference checks
• Assist in the coordination of the annual Canadian campus campaign of new graduate, co-op and summer student positions including participation on the Fluor Global University Sponsorship committee where required
• Attend career fairs when required
• Collaborate with hiring departments and DE&I Manager to implement diversity and inclusion plans for recruitment activities
• Establish and maintain good recruitment networks and partnerships including the review and evaluation of current and new sourcing opportunities
