BlackBerry QNX is looking for an experienced BtoB product marketing professional, expert in the Automotive industry, who thrives at the intersection of technology and business and is passionate about how technology can be used to solve the automotive industry's largest challenges.  

We seek a technically-minded, well-written, results-oriented marketing professional who will focus on global automotive customers.  

You will help drive overall industry marketing strategy, messaging, and content creation, focusing on business decision-makers and software developers. You will create compelling content to help customers understand BlackBerry QNX solution use cases and value propositions. You will ensure delivery of industry-specific, differentiated solutions supported with whitepapers, customers, blogs, social posts and website updates. 

You'll also be responsible for market research, including competitive intelligence, and will work cross-functionally with product management and sales to develop and execute a go-to-market strategy. We're looking for someone who can distill technical documents and product features into a compelling, differentiated story that will appeal to our target audience and knows how to amplify that story to generate market awareness and sales leads. 

 
 
Responsibilities 

  • Develop compelling audience-specific messages and tools (videos, blogs, customer success stories, white papers, presentations, demos, guides, etc.), to be used on the web, in live events, and other channels 

  • Define business metrics, measurement, and testing plans for channels and campaigns 

  • Work effectively across BlackBerry IoT with groups such as engineering, product management, digital marketing, sales, press relations, analyst relations to achieve our joint business goals 

  • Deliver critical pieces of collateral (PowerPoints, brochures, white papers, blog posts, thought leadership pieces) that engage customers and entice prospects. 

  • Provide support with marketing awareness activities, including webinars, trade shows, direct marketing, collateral, and case studies. 

  • Support in developing programs that drive demand. Work with the broader marketing team to craft and review marketing content. 

  • Be the Automotive Industry subject matter expert with a deep understanding of Automotive customers business objectives and challenges. 

  • Develop competitive intelligence using thorough market, competitive, and audience analysis. 

  • Create impactful and concise value-based marketing messaging for products. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Solid understanding of product marketing, content marketing and content writing (blogs, whitepapers, web pages..) 

  • Automotive Industry Expert: know-how automotive OEMs research, how they buy   

  • A bachelor’s degree and/or MBA; technical degree is a plus 

  • At least 5 years with BS/BA o of relevant experience in marketing, writing (B2B software) or software product management 

  • Proven ability to distill technical documentation and product functionality into a compelling, differentiated story tailored to each target audience. 

  • Understanding of the customer life cycle (Automotive Industry) and experience creating content for each stage 

  • Experience working with global sales teams to create and deliver sales enablement content. 

  • Excellent writing and editing skills capacity, with attention to detail, is a critical requirement. 

  • Team player with excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; comfortable working across multiple time zones and cultures. 

  • Comfortable presenting skills to customers and the executive leadership team. 

  • Strong time and project management skills with proven ability to handle multiple competing priorities with ease. 

  • Technical background and/or domain experience in automation, medical devices, or robotics is a clear plus. 

  • Hands-on with the attitude to get things done. 

  • Demonstrated innovation and creative problem-solving abilities. 

Position may be located near any BlackBerry office in North America
