Job Summary

Working with the Live Events and Media Production Team this position provides administrative and technical support for the festivals and events taking place in Mississauga.  

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to collect and organize event paperwork.
  • Preparation and organization of correspondence, reports, digital content.
  • Create and upload Production equipment show files based on event requirements.
  • Clean and Organize equipment in preparation for festivals and events.
  • Schedule meetings, conference calls and other events, calendar maintenance.
  • Respond to general inquiries and requests for information, handle complaints and issues or direct to appropriate person.
  • Perform basic budget tracking, data entry tasks.
  • Ad hoc projects, requests.
  • Track, input and prepare reports for time and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnostic testing of production equipment.
  • May provide functional guidance to junior staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Graduation from a post-secondary Live Event, Theatrical, Broadcast program along with 1-3 years progressive experience in an administrative role.
  • Solid typing/keyboarding skills; strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, CAD.
  • 2+ years working with digital production systems (audio, lighting, video consoles).
  • May require some lifting of supplies/materials.
  • Prolonged exposure to computer keyboards and screens. 
  • Flexibility in work locations (indoor/outdoor ) in all weather conditions.
