The Team Lead, Asset Protection will be accountable for all aspects of asset protection, ensuring that all objectives are clearly communicated and executed. The incumbent will be an adaptable subject matter expert, with a track record of providing effective solutions to operational deficiencies, while utilizing a hands on approach, ensuring consistent and the timely execution of all Asset Protection objectives, within a fast paced dynamic environment.

• Actively assist in the co-ordination of the timely and accurate execution of all  Asset Protection initiatives as per Company standards.
• Role model fostering teamwork and collaboration to meet objectives, by developing rapport with the internal team.
• Conduct audits, support policies and procedures ensuring compliance and liaise with law enforcement agencies.
• Perform covert investigations and detect internal dishonesty by monitoring systems and procedures.
• Possess excellent working knowledge of CCTV equipment.
• Available to work on both weekends and afternoon.

• Must Have a valid Alberta Security License.
• Working knowledge of Chubb Director Afx Program (asset, not mandatory).
• Working knowledge of Intellex DVR Systems (asset, not mandatory).

• Minimum 3 Years Asset Protection experience or related field
• Completion of recognized Law & Security course an asset
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Must have excellent working knowledge of computers
• Interviewing/Investigation skills
• Full flexibility with schedule to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
• Detail oriented
• Systems proficiency
• Knowledge of Inventory process an asset
• Knowledge of retail procedures and criminal/ civil proceedings
