SUMMARY 

Responsible to collect, analyze, manipulate, develop customized reports and dashboards, as well as use data visualization techniques, and report on internal and client data.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Performs ad-hoc, strategic analysis of structured and unstructured data across multiple data sources, reflecting global real estate markets and the operations of real estate assets.
  • Utilizes data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI to formulate models and/or extract insights.
  • Works with Clients and the Business to map new data sources as well as creating customized reports and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with linking into data warehouse to pull data and create reports/ analytics.
  • Identifies and troubleshoots data integration and integrity issues in cooperation with the appropriate business units; Designs work flows and procedures.
  • Develops ad-hoc analytics and reporting based on analysis of existing data sources, utilizing a variety of tools
  • Records all activity in IT Change Logs, manages version control of issued outcomes, and assures flawless data quality control.
  • Develops data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, cleanse, and standardize data in order to generate insights and addresses reporting needs.
  • Defines data requirements and gathers and validates information, using judgment and statistical tests.
  • Well versed in knowledge of creating algorithms, identifying patterns and insights from structured and unstructured data sets utilizing graphs, trees and/or other data representation techniques as required.
  • Identifies and troubleshoots data integration and integrity issues in cooperation with the appropriate business units.
  • Identifies opportunities to maximize data usage, applying modeling and optimization methods to develop new strategies and improve business performance.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • College Diploma or University degree in computer science, data engineering, actuarial science or equivalent with a focus on data management
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantitative analysis, data modeling, reporting, and data-visualization  
  • Ability to perform ad-hoc, strategic analysis of structured and unstructured data across multiple data sources
  • Ability to define data requirements and gathers and validates information, using judgment and statistical tests.
  • Utilizes analytical and visualization tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Python, R and SAS, SQL, Oracle, to extract insights.
  • Well versed in knowledge of creating algorithms, identifying patterns and insights from structured and unstructured data sets utilizing graphs, trees and/or other data representation techniques as required.
  • Identifies and troubleshoots data integration and integrity issues in cooperation with the appropriate business units
  • Experience in Corporate Real Estate would be considered an asset
  • Process improvement experience (lean sigma, six sigma even at Greenbelt level) would be beneficial-
  • Experience in Data Governance would be an asset
