Summer Intern, FP&A

 

The Intern - Finance Associate assists in the Planning, Forecasting and Management Reporting for BGIS on a Global Basis. This position reports to Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and will get an opportunity to work closely with the Global CFO and VP, Global GP&A.

Start date: May 2022

End date: August 2022

Location: Hybrid, mostly remote

 

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in building, developing and maintaining dashboards and performance metrics with a robust set of KPIs on operational effectiveness and business impact.
  • Assist in management of the repository of all reporting files including and not limited to development of new financial models and reports
  • Assist in the Reporting/Analytics space to drive value for key business strategies.
  • Organize and improve data management and oversee data quality.
  • Ensure that the analytics solutions put in place help solve business issues and/or add value in decision-making.
  • Configure and maintain various in-house models and templates
  • Other duties as required.    

 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Currently pursuing a University Degree / College Diploma in Computer Science with an interest to work in a Corporate Finance environment
  • Ability to use Financial Reporting tools (e.g., Vena)
  • Intermediate Excel Skills and familiarity with Word and PowerPoint
  • Detail-oriented and responsible individual with a proven track record of taking ownership and follow through to ensure all loose ends are resolved;
  • Proven organizational and time management skills in dealing with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
