The role

The Shaw Business team in Calgary is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team! This position reports directly to the Supervisor, Service Delivery. Our team is responsible for coordination of internal resources, direct customer support, and project reporting, throughout the delivery of data and voice services to some of Shaw’s largest customers. The Project Coordinator is accountable for coordination and delivery of projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining an excellent customer experience throughout the process.

A typical day

The role is both exciting and fast paced. You will balance large project volumes while ensuring flawless delivery to our Enterprise customers. You will need to understand the business objective of your project, and get to know your internal and external customers, build relationships with downstream operational teams, and drive the project to the finish line.

Your skills/experience

• Candidates with project management, project coordination, along with implementation will be prioritized for this role
• In depth knowledge of Voice and Data
• Complete full workload within established time frames.
• Manage projected in-service dates and provide proactive customer communications throughout order cycle
• Take action when answers to a problem are not readily apparent in equivocal circumstances
• Prioritize quickly as circumstances dictate
• Respond to customer inquiries and concerns providing each client with cheerful, professional, and knowledgeable service
• Act as a single point of contact for the customer providing ongoing account support, handling service inquiries, billing issues and change management for assigned accounts
• Prepare reports detailing monthly account activities and service installation intervals
• Initiate all changes to existing services.
• Track project milestones ensuring results are completed and meet project requirements
• Coordinate, attend, and participate in partner meetings
• Proven track record of identifying problems and situations, take appropriate action, implement solutions, or escalate as required, maintaining a high level of performance under the pressure of time constraints and a fast-paced changing environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills. Collaborate in a team environment and with departments.
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate and monitor a significant number of functions simultaneously
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Various other duties as required

• This position requires the successful completion of a criminal and credit background check
