Colin Druhan

Executive Director - (he/him)

Colin Druhan is a business strategist with more than fifteen years of experience working with 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. He has served as Executive Director of Pride at Work Canada since 2014. In 2021 he was elected Chair of the Board of Directors of Volunteer Toronto, Canada's largest volunteer centre, where he has served as a Director since 2018. He also sits on the Advisory Board of the Diversity Institute at the Ted Rogers School of Management at X University (formerly Ryerson). In 2020 Colin was named a DiverseCity Fellow by CivicAction, joining a diverse group of rising leaders who are passionate about shaping their communities within the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). Originally from Cole Harbour, NS, Colin received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from NSCAD University and has completed executive education programs at both the Rotman School of Management and at Harvard Business School. Florence Gagnon

Programming Assistant, Quebec - (she/her)

Florence Gagnon holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Concordia University. She has spent the last 10 years working to ‘spread the word’ and increase visibility for lesbians within and outside of the LGBTQ+ community. In 2012, she created a platform to provide a resource to lesbian communities, Lez Spread The Word, the first bilingual website of its kind in Canada. In 2014, she launched the FÉMININ / FÉMININ television series, with director Chloé Robichaud (Sarah Préfère la Course and Boudaries), who won two Gemini Awards in Quebec and several international prizes in 2015. In 2016, she published the first LSTW magazine, a 230-page bilingual annual magazine that stands out in stores across Canadian provinces, European capitals and major US cities. From Yellowknife to Vancouver, Berlin and Stockholm, up to MoMA PS1 in New York. She also was on the board of Pride Montreal and The LGBT Chamber of Commerce for many years. Pru Girme

Administrative and Events Coordinator - (she/her)

Pru est gestionnaire culturelle sud-asiatique et artiste établie à Toronto. Sa vision en tant que professionnelle créative est de réunir la communauté LGBTQ2+, les personnes de couleur et les  nouveaux arrivants au moyen d’un engagement significatif et d’un dialogue persuasif. Son œuvre s’inspire de la relation entre sa propre identité, sa communauté et l’équité. Pru est diplômée en administration et titulaire d’un diplôme d’études supérieures en beaux-arts de l’UNSW en Australie. Elle est également co-présidente du groupe Friends of South Asia au Musée royal de l’Ontario. En plus de sa carrière professionnelle, elle est également photographe et peintre et a exposé ses œuvres en Asie du Sud, en Australie et à Toronto. Avant de se joindre à Fierté au travail Canada, Pru a occupé des postes à la Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, à Branksome Hall, au Festival international du film de Toronto et à la Piramal Art Residency. Albert Lin

Executive Coordinator - (he/him)

Albert is a marketing graduate with a strong background in project and non-profit management. He has experience working as a multi-disciplinary professional with provincial, national, and international associations and has led multiple projects such as AGMs, annual conferences, membership campaigns and website overhauls. With his resourcefulness and positive attitude, he always strives for organizational excellence. Albert values the power of the shared human experience and is passionate about encouraging and enabling people from all communities to be their authentic selves. Sandeep Nair

Manager of Business Operations - (he/him, they/them)

Sandeep holds a Bachelor degree in Communication and Journalism and a Diploma in 2D and 3D animation and graphic design. With over 12 years of work experience, Sandeep has worked as EDI - Programme Consultant and prior to that, worked for a communication agency. Experienced in project management and creative development, he worked on various projects ranging from websites, online communication to product packaging deliverables. With a core belief that everybody has a special responsibility for making a positive difference, Sandeep’s work focuses largely on creating an inclusive workplace environment for all, especially 2SLGBTQ+ community and people with disabilities. Sandeep has led programmes and campaigns, and provided training and consultancy services to drive the EDI strategy across various organisations in the Asian region. He has played a key role in developing three research publications, to achieve success in creating a safe and inclusive society. Sandeep is on the board of Nanaimo Pride Society and SIETAR BC (Society For Intercultural Education Research And Training). Luis Augusto Nobre

Marketing & Communications Coordinator - (he/him)

Luis has been working with social inclusion for over a decade. As Pride at Work Canada’s Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Luis is committed to raise awareness of LGBTQ2+ issues and to engage our stakeholders to celebrate gender and sexual diversity. His areas of expertise are corporate social responsibility, communications and human resources at multinational companies and non-profit sector. He specializes in strategic communication management, CSR, and project management. For the past years, he has been working on blended activities among Diversity & Inclusion, Corporate Social Responsibility, Communications, and Public Policies. Passionate and devoted, he advocates for human rights protection and volunteers to support minority communities, such as LGBTQ2+, indigenous, black people and people of colour communities. Jade Pichette

Manager of Programs - (they/them)

Jade is an inclusion, diversity and belonging educator with a background in social work. As Pride at Work Canada’s Manager of Programs, Jade is committed to implementing engaging programs for our partners that envision a world where gender and sexual diversity are included and celebrated. Previous to Pride at Work Canada they have held positions at the ArQuives, Kind Space, and as an independent consultant. Jade is the Gythia (Ásatrú priestess) of Vindisir Kindred, and dedicates their time to interfaith engagement including founding the Canadian Pagan Declaration on Intolerance. Connor Pion

Senior Programs Coordinator - (he/him, they/them)

Connor is a community engagement and outreach professional with ten years of experience in education, research, program coordination and peer support. Connor holds an Honours B.A. in Indigenous Studies as well as a M.A. in Geography and Planning from the University of Toronto. Prior to joining Pride at Work Canada, Connor held positions with Grand Challenges Canada, the Ontario Federation of Indigenous Friendship Centres, OCAD University, the Centre for Addictions and Mental Health and was co-founder of ODE (“his/her/their heart” in Anishinaabemowin), a 2SLGBTQ+ drop-in group for Indigenous youth in the GTA.

Stella Samuels

Leadership Programs Coordinator - (they/them, she/her))

Stella is deeply passionate about finding innovative ways to be, work, and play together in communities. Stella holds a Master’s Degree in Gender, Feminist, and Women’s Studies and is a longtime social justice advocate and activist in 2SLGBTQIA+ and disability communities. Their career has taken a winding path that includes entrepreneurship, non-profit work, municipal government, academia, and book publishing…sometimes in tandem. They are currently co-facilitator of Pivot Nova Scotia, a 2SLGBTQIA+ health intervention program through Community Based Research Centre. They are a past Board member and Provincial Coordinator with Nova Scotia Rainbow Action Project, an organization focused on education, advocacy, health, and law reform, and coordinator/facilitator/researcher at Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia (ISANS). BOARD

Jen Anthony

(she/her)

Jennifer Anthony (she/her/hers) lives on the ancestral, unceded territory of the of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nations, often known as Vancouver. She is a Senior Vice-President at FleishmanHillard Highroad, where she is a member of both the Public Affairs and True MOSAIC Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practices. Jen currently serves as co-lead in her firm’s work to improve diversity, equity and inclusion. She specializes in providing strategic analysis, engaging multiple audiences on complex issues, and helping others tell their stories authentically and effectively. She has more than 20 years experience as an issue management and communication strategist. She has led community organizing and outreach initiatives while working in government, private and non-profit sectors.
When she’s not working, Jen is usually watching sci-fi and baking shows, needlepointing, and learning to box. She also currently volunteers on a campaign to decarcerate women in B.C.
Holly Cooper

Holly has worked in the Indigenous community for over two decades. She is a recognized and respected business leader in Canada and dedicated her career to advancing Indigenous economic reconciliation.
As Head of Indigenous Banking & Relations at ATB Financial, Holly leads the development and integration of the Indigenous Banking market. In addition, she leads the advancement of Indigenous corporate reconciliation practices. Holly is a member of the Indigenous, Ellevate and Pride Team Member Networks at ATB.
Holly is honoured to join the Pride at Work Canada board to promote the inclusion and belonging of LGBTQ2S+ team members with employers across Canada. Holly is also the former co-chair of the Aboriginal Professional Network in Ottawa and has past board member roles with the Public Sector Aboriginal Business Association, Kahkewistahaw Economic Management Corporation, and IndigenousWorks.
Holly resides in Alberta and a member of the Kahkewistahaw First Nation in Saskatchewan.
Sharon Chung

Sharon Chung Portrait
Sharon Chung champions Diversity and Inclusion and is passionate about the LGBTQ2+ community. She has held a variety of leadership roles at TD within the Retail Network, Call Centre operations, Diversity and Inclusion, and Talent Acquisition, including unique roles focused specifically on LGBTQ2+ people.  She currently leads the LGBTQ2+ talent strategy for the bank, where her primary focus is to source, attract and advocate for the hiring of top LGBTQ2+ talent Canada-wide.  She is also proud to lead the Diversity Talent Acquisition team who have a dedicated focus on their respective communities: People with Disabilities, Indigenous People, Visible Minorities and Women in Leadership.  Sharon is an active member of TD's LGBTQ2+ Employee Resource Group where she leads their Engaging LBT Women strategy and Talent strategy.   She feels extremely fortunate and considers it a privilege to have the opportunity to do the work that she does professionally and personally. Terri Eklund

Terri Eklund Portrait
Terri is an educator and lifelong learner with more than 10 years of experience in higher education. In her current role as an educational developer with the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), Terri supports teaching and learning in an applied environment and is passionate about cultivating inclusive classrooms. In 2017, she helped launch SAIT’s Gender and Sexuality Inclusion Committee and continues to serve as co-chair. Terri credits her work during her master’s degree (which coincided with a few major life events, just for added stress…) as what catapulted her down a path where inclusion is a guiding value in life and work. Her professional experience and commitment to discussing diverse topics has resulted in several workshops and speaking engagements, both on and off campus. Outside of the workplace, Terri is an avid reader, skilled movie-quoter and football fan. She’s excited to join Pride at Work Canada as one of the Prairies Regional Leads and looks forward to learning from and alongside the PAWC staff and board members. Connect with Terri on LinkedIn! Lauren Flynn

Lauren is a champion for diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and passionate about LGBTQ+ inclusion. Lauren holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, and a BSc in Earth Sciences from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Lauren is a Manager in the Intact Lab at Intact Financial Corporation, which aims to transform the customer experience for insurance. Chris Forward

Chris is a proud Newfoundlander, born and raised in St John's. His family operated a heating oil business for 53 years, which was eventuall sold to A. Harvey & Co. Ltd. Chris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Currently he is the General Manager of Harvey's Oil Ltd., a Petro Canada partnership that sells and distributes petroleum products throughout Newfoundland. Chris is a champion of health & safety in the workplace, and recently received an award presented by the NL Occupational Health and Safety Organization to honour his commitment to his co-workers and their well-being. Chris is a board member of Shallaway Youth Choir and is the past president of the Boys and Girls Club of St John’s. Under Chris’ leadership the two Boys and Girls clubs have grown to offer an open and inclusive environment, engaging nearly 800 youth.
Mark Lawton

Originally from Yorkshire in Northern England, Mark has over 14 years of international marketing experience gained at Wal-Mart UK & Coca-Cola Canada. He has a deep knowledge of Product, Brand and Customer marketing and prides himself on building strong & successful relationships. Mark’s passion for inclusive and progressive workplace’s first developed by being an active member of Wal-Mart UK’s LGBTQ network. He took this passion further by launching and leading Coca-Cola Canada’s LGBTQA Business Resource Group (BRG) from the summer of 2018 to the present day. Currently, Mark is the Customer Marketing Manager at Coca-Cola Canada, and he continually strives to expand his leadership skills & knowledge base, demonstrated by taking on this exciting position with Pride at Work Canada. Mark regularly keeps in touch with family in friends in the UK, as well as enjoying travel & social time with his partner of 10 years and new friendship group in Toronto.
Eddy Ng

Eddy Ng is the Smith Professor of Equity & Inclusion in Business at Queen’s University, and previously the James & Elizabeth Freeman Professor of Management and DEI Faculty Fellow at Bucknell University. His research focuses on managing diversity for organizational competitiveness, the future of work, and managing across generations. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and an Associate Editor of Personnel Review. He is also the Division Chair Elect for the Gender and Diversity in Organizations division of the Academy of Management, the preeminent professional association for management and organization scholars. Prior to academia, he worked for the TD Bank Financial Group in Commercial Banking, Domestic Planning, Corporate Audit, and Group Human Resources at the headoffice in Toronto.
Erin Roach

Chair of Thought Leadership Committee - (she/her)

Erin (she/her) is the Director, Diversity and Inclusion at Ubisoft where she leads the equity, diversity and inclusion strategy for its Canadian studios. Previously, Erin was the Executive Director of the Diversity Institute, an action-oriented research centre at X University focused on building more diverse and inclusive innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems. She has taken a leadership role on national knowledge sharing networks such as the Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub and the Future Skills research network. Her work focuses on multi-level system approaches to D&I, innovation and entrepreneurship, intersectionality and impact measurement. She is often found playing sports and games (especially when there's role playing involved) and would love to connect on LinkedIn.
Richard Tuck

Treasurer, Chair of Finance & Audit Committee - (he/him)

Richard is a Métis serial entrepreneur, academic, researcher, and consultant located on Treaty One Territory. His career has spanned across the globe starting with international development, passing through academia, tech, finance, impact investing, and finally landed in social innovation, where his focus is on the nexus between social finance and the process of impactful entrepreneurship. Currently, he is the CEO of Wakopa Financial Workers Co-op and volunteers his time for Social Innovation Canada’s Manitoba group, the Social Innovation Academy, the Social Entrepreneurship Enclave, North Forge Technology Exchange, and with various Indigenous community groups across Canada. Claire Yick

Claire is passionate about supporting and mentoring those within the LGBTQ2+ community. She currently works as a senior policy analyst with the BC Public Service in Victoria. Claire obtained her Master in Environmental Studies and law degree (MES/JD) at York University and Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to this, she completed undergraduate degrees in biology and environmental science. Claire has worked as a lawyer within the legal aid clinic system and well as in private practice. Claire has also served as executive member of the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Community (SOGIC) sections with both the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association.
