What will you do?

  • Build cool solutions to solve problems using new technologies and tools

  • Build custom technical solutions with Workday Extend

  • Work closely with the greater HR Technology team to tackle problems and provide insight on technology and architecture

  • Analyze latest HR Technology trends and research to help drive and deliver innovation to various groups within Sun Life

  • Tell great stories to our senior leadership about the value you deliver and recommend enhancements in the space

  • Explore new platforms and find ways to improve existing systems

What do you need to succeed?

  • Strategic thinker with strong attention to details, excellent analytical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities

  • Track record of constant upskilling, learning new technologies and methodologies

  • Self-starter with ability to work without explicit direction

  • Strong written and verbal communications/presentation skills

  • Strong computer and technology skills

  • HR domain knowledge is preferred

  • Resilience to support a transforming organization

  • Desire to try new things outside of your comfort zone and not be afraid to fail

  • Take charge of your career path and work with your leader and team to continuously develop your skills and competencies – we want you to love what you do

  • Curiosity about the future of work

  • Question the norms of current state and push through false boundaries

  • Experience with:

    • Workday (Extend, Configuration, and Workday Studio)

    • Productivity Tools (JIRA)

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted.  It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.  In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.  Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
