In this role you will;
- Serve as IBM’s point of contact for Mainframe Modernization solutions within the Canadian market
- Be a trusted advisor to our clients and help them connect their cloud strategies to their business strategies
- Understand our client’s strategic needs and, business objectives, and then articulate and formulate proposals and statements of work which are aligned to customer goals
- Evangelize IBM consulting offerings within our community and also within Partner sales teams, including cloud partners (Amazon, Microsoft, Google)
- Drive joint Go To Market campaigns and business development workshops to build and maintain pipeline on a rolling basis.
- Build references and case studies to further grow business
- Establish client value propositions that tie key strategic, financial, and operational metrics directly to near and long-term business improvement
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 10-15 years consulting and leadership experience, including a proven ability to define and shape mainframe solutions and modernization for enterprise customers
- Be an expert in shaping and delivering application migration and/or modernization to hybrid cloud platforms
- Extensive experience in mainframe and legacy environments, and how to modernize a clients landscape to cloud
- Experience leading solutions as part of responses for new business, as well as complex multi-year / multi-million dollar transformation programs.
- Solution mind-set; ability to connect the dots and conceptualize a solution, value proposition and create a blueprint for translating into an offering.
- Bilingual English and French (verbal and written) for work location in Quebec region
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Strong CxO relationships and ability to build and maintain these
- Cloud certifications (one or more of AWS, Azure, GCP, Red Hat OpenShift, IBM Cloud)
- Experience working in multiple industries
