BGIS is seeking a BAS Technician to meet current and projected workload requirements.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

1. Proven BAS knowledge and experience with Niagara experience being a definite asset.
2. Over five years of experience in the provision of BAS programming, graphics development, integration, commissioning, and client training.  Previous experience with Preventative Maintenance and Service Calls is an asset.
3. Proven Niagara experience, N4 Certified is an asset.
4. Proficiency with HVAC systems.
5. Knowledge of IT and networks would be an asset
6. Intuitive ability to diagnose, research and rectify programming, commissioning and integration issues.
7. Ability to learn and utilize various BAS computer software(s).
8. Positive attitude and desire to learn.
9. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
10. Self-motivated with capacity to work independently.
11. Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
12. Attention to detail and accuracy.
13. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
14. Ability to work effectively under pressure.
15. Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
16. Completed courses related to BAS and HVAC will be considered an asset.
17.  A technologist or engineering degree is considered an asset.
18. A valid Canadian driver’s licence.

Salary: Negotiable based on proven track record and experience.
