Position Summary...

The Sr. Analyst, Business initiates, project manages, executes, and supports the development and deployment of new applications, assess Canada business needs and assist the Developers to produce the technical requirements and lead the testing activities. The focus for this role will be on the larger, transformational projects.

What you'll do...

Conduct discovery, scoping, impact & trade-off analysis by working closely with other product teams, engineering, operations etc. based on data analysis, understanding of business flows and architectural reviews

Elicit, analyze and specify functional and non-functional requirements comprehensively and cross-functionally and document them with high level of attention to detail

Create high-level test cases and work with program managers and quality assurance leads to build deployment plans to ensure high-quality releases

Groom and evolve the product backlog by investigating level of effort, understanding business value and key metrics and recommending prioritization for the roadmap

As the subject-matter expert, mentor other Business Analysts with projects and provide consultation to operations, legal/compliance, marketing and other verticals on the domain as and when required

Work with operations and other stakeholders to formulate go-to-market strategy and monitor results in comparison with the objectives and key metrics for initiatives; present analyses of opportunities in scope for further enhancements

Ensure domain and initiative level documentation is created, up-to-date and maintained to reflect the state of the domain, near future initiatives, outstanding risks and key decisions

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a business analyst or product owner in supply chain, e-commerce or other relevant areas

Familiarity with software architecture terminology and experience working on API and algorithm based software solutions

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience in presenting ideas and project status to senior leadership
