Position Summary...

The Senior Manager, Learning Design and Delivery is accountable for defining our content architecture and strategy for HO associate and management development (i.e. leadership transitions, strategic organizational capabilities). This includes the overall management of content and program design, development, facilitation and evaluation of integrated and blended learning solutions and programs.

What you'll do...

1. Collaborate with business partners and Subject Matter Experts in conducting learning and performance needs analyses and identifying development gaps, objectives and priorities. Research and identify sustainable and innovative learning solutions to meet identified needs.

2. Lead the design, build and testing of blended learning solutions in collaboration with business partners, team members and vendors to deliver effective and efficient development solutions that enhance performance and engagement. Accountability for end to end solution development and implementation.

3. Oversee and manage the development and implementation of transition and in-role development programs, including participant selection, on-boarding and communication aligned to budget and plan (i.e. Leading Self, Leading Others, Leading Leaders). Provide guidance to Coaches and business partners in identifying and facilitating learning opportunities.

4. Partner with functional subject matter experts to maintain necessary updates to the My Learning portal including updates to the digital development content and the coordination and communication of the monthly SSC Learning Calendar offerings.

5. Ensure the quality and effectiveness of development programs and provide recommendations and solutions for improvement. Implement measurement and evaluation strategies to measure program effectiveness and business impact. Solicit feedback and diverse perspectives from key stakeholders to use as input to program enhancements.

6. Keep abreast of and share industry best practices to advance the learning and development plan for the organization.

7. Partner with global counterparts to leverage and share best practices.

Qualifications:

  • In depth knowledge of and 5- 8 years of experience in instructional design principles and practices, adult learning principles, interactive learning design and blended learning techniques (classroom, e-learning, action learning, communities of practice, self-paced)
  • Strong diagnostic skills and problem solving skills, including technical troubleshooting
  • Strong written, oral, and facilitation skills including knowledge of group dynamics
  • Self-starter and ability to take initiative to deliver results
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office applications, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong relationship management and collaboration skills (internal and external)
  • Using social learning technology to augment learning ‘stickiness’
  • Adult Learning certification or degree is preferred
  • Strong relationship management, collaboration and influencer skills (internal and external)
  • Experience in Store Operations, Supply Chain is an asset
  • Able to prioritize and deliver in a changing environment with short time-lines
