Position: English as a Second Language/LINC/Citizenship Instruction Instructor - Long-Term Supply Pool (Days/Evenings/Weekends) - Repost

Work Location: Various Sites

Work Schedule: Days/Evenings/Weekend Assignments (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday)

Rate: In line with Schedule 1 - Wages of the Collective Agreement:

Supply ESL/LINC/Citizenship Program Instructors - $33.41/hour

Please Note: For the 2018-2019 school year there will be a Long-Term Supply Pool. Candidates who are successful in the selection process will be placed on a long-term supply list for the purpose of filling long-term supply assignments that may arise during the 2018-2019 school year. Please be advised that those in the long-term supply pool must be able to work in a minimum of two (2) of the Board’s geographic locations (Central, West, North and/or East).

Qualifications:

TESL Ontario Accreditation Certificate

Experience in providing instruction in ESL to adult students

Notes: Successful

incumbent must complete a self-directed PBLA (Portfolio Based Language Assessment)

training within the first 6 months of employment.
