Real Estate Services at Bell Canada is widely recognized throughout the industry for its ability to manage the entire BCE and Bell real estate portfolio, which covers over 3000 buildings in Canada and the United States. Our mission is to provide a safe work environment to employees, to ensure the reliability of the telecommunications network and to provide value-added services.

 

The Performance Management team of Real Estate Services is currently comprised of twelve members, experts in the performance management, and the control of operating costs and capital expenditures. We are looking for a candidate to assist in maximizing Real Estate Services’ efficiency and performance. This would be a great opportunity to refine your leadership and management skills, get acquainted with Real Estate and grow within the company.

 

Job duties / accountabilities:

  • Support corporate finance and capital management with capital budgeting and forecasting
  • Assist to consolidate data in scorecards/dashboard and perform variance analysis
  • Develop, recommend and implement process improvements and controls
  • Support team in managing and providing departmental budgets and forecasts, as well as track, analyze and report on them in order to identify any potential issues (including processing reclass/accrual entries)
  • Verify and follow up on any outstanding issues related to financial reports produced by the service provider (i.e., accounts payable, funding requests, self-perform billing)
  • Special projects, as needed (i.e., PowerPoint presentations)
     

Requirements:

  • University degree in Accounting/Finance, Analytics, Business administration or equivalent experience
  • Ability to be detail oriented, analyze results, identify underlying business trends, develop recommendations and action plans in conjunction with key stakeholders
  • Self starter, with high degree of initiative and energy level
  • Excellent multi-tasking capabilities and ability to deal with tight deadlines and a quickly changing environment
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP, Power BI, and Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Autonomous, but also a team player
  • Bilingual (French and English), verbal and written, an asset

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
