The IBM Security development team works on leading edge products and solutions to protect our clients from various attacks including malware, identity theft, fraud etc. IBM Security delivers an integrated system of analytics, real-time defenses and proven experts, so come make a difference & build a career.
We are looking for a Full Stack Cloud Software Developer to join our dynamic, agile team where you will participate in the design, development, and testing of new features, and will work with some of the latest technologies.

Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Full Stack Cloud Software Developer to join our dynamic, agile team where you will participate in the design, development, and testing of new features, and will work with some of the latest technologies.

- As a Full-Stack Developer, you are going to be working on developing scalable web application features.
- You will be building Front End components in React.js, and server-side features in Node.js.
- You will be working on customer-facing applications where you will collaborate with the other developers on the team to define and integrate REST APIs with UI components.
- Write unit & integration tests for different features.
- Collaborate on maintaining CI/CD pipelines as needed.
- Perform code reviews by providing constructive and respectful feedback in a timely manner.
- Support other team members in designing and implementing tasks.
- You will participate in planning and retrospective sessions, attend stand-ups.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with React.js & Node.js or similar Web technologies.
- Experience with SQL databases, like PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar databases.
- Experience with querying and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience in HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Familiar with Docker build, Kubernetes pods, Jenkins jobs, and writing Ansible scripts.
- Familiar with Redis.
- Experience with Linux.
- Experience with React.js state management libraries like Redux or similar libraries.
- Experience with Git, GitHub or GitLab.
- Experience writing unit tests, TDD or BDD.
- Developing microservices for distributed systems
