Overview:
Reporting into the Senior Director of Revenue Operations, the Manager, Marketing Operations is responsible for Marketing’s Enterprise Platform Operations & processes, Marketing Tech Stack management in alignment to Marketing’s requirements within the organization’s Corporate Technology landscape, tech and agency vendor relationships, Digital Marketing automation execution and data governance.
 
In this role you will work across departments and interact with various marketing teams to create an operational and executional riven high-performance technology environment that enables and increases marketing automation, demand generation, maintains a high-performance standard and projects with the objective of enhancing customer engagements and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Technology and Strategy
·       Act as the technology platform owner for all Marketing systems within the broader MarTech portfolio, including building out the strategic roadmaps for all systems and platforms in alignment of our Corporate Technology environment and our digital strategy.
·       Interact with Enterprise Applications counterparts and assigned Business Relationship Manager for technology integration
·       Lead evaluations and vendor selection, contract renewals, including translating business requirements into technical process specifications, onboarding, implementation and eventual management of the selected solution(s) including internal training and administration
·       Manage the maintenance and issue resolution with the MarTech vendors
·       Leads data strategy integration including technology ownership and marketing process governance
Collaboration
·       Work with Marketing Revenue Operations peers to align on process and best practices and optimize campaign go-to-market velocity as well as quality
·       Manage all MarTech budgets, forecasts and vendor invoicing working with our Budgeting Manager
·       Work with Marketing Enablement to build and scale hands-on training for all users on best practices for all systems to ensure users understand the purpose and process steps of each system as well as how to use them effectively
·       Coordinates with the Production Manager to meet production SLAs and support the technology infrastructure
·       Collaborates and supports the reporting and insights strategy from the Director, Marketing Revenue Operations
Growth and Thought Leadership
·       Lead a team of high-performing specialists and administrators and play key roles in the growth of Marketing Operations and Marketing Revenue Operations maturity
·       Participates in the development of organizational alignment, competency assessments and skills development, as directed by the Sr Director of Revenue Marketing
·       Delivers effective change management and communications for best practices and standards for technology implementation, data policy and platform process re-engineering
·       Provide thought leadership around the Marketing Operations landscape and innovative capabilities as well internal and external best practices on technology, CRM and MAP operations
·       Act as a key contributor and advocate to Revenue Operations

Works cross functionally with:
Marketing Functional Leadership and Teams members, Marketing Operations, Business Operations, CTS, Sales Operations, Customer Success Operations, Marketing Data Governance and others as required.

Required Experience:
·       Bachelor’s degree required
·       5-10 years of marketing operations and/or technology implementation experience (i.e. Data Management Platform (DMP), Digital Asset Management (DAM), Content Management Systems (CMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Customer Advocacy Management (CAM), Marketing Automation Platform (MAP) and other platforms
·       Understanding of sales cycles and product lifecycles and their respective pressures on the marketing organization to drive demand and revenue
·       Experience with lead management process creation, delivery and monitoring, particularly in the area of service-level agreements, is desirable
·       Strong team leadership capabilities and capability to turn constructive feedback into new standardized optimizations
·       Good balance of Marketing, operational and Technology functional skills. Able to understand the Marketing vision and capability needs and translate business needs into technology requirements
·       Experience with Salesforce (or similar), marketing automation platforms (Marketo), marketing attribution platform (Bizible) and other B2B marketing software 
·       Awareness of current and future industry trends, technology and best practices related to operations, data management, reporting and analytics
·       Experience in fast paced, heavily matrixed organizations
·       Passionate knowledge of marketing concepts, frameworks, methods, and techniques 
·       Expert attention to detail, objective problem-solving attitude, and a strong willingness to learn
