Collaborating with and across professions, theoretical frameworks are critiqued and applied to gain insight into the nursing role that influences policies and practices in healthcare. Evaluation of the processes that influence and support change, as well as system inertia, will assist in developing strategies to improve health for society.
This is a 3-credit hour course. Weekly lecture is scheduled for Wednesdays from 1130 - 1430.
This appointment runs from September 1, 2022 until December 31, 2022. The part-time academic instructor reports directly to the Associate Director, Undergraduate Studies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Development of teaching and learning activities related to course-specific topic
• Teach course content
• Assessment and evaluation of student learning
• Use of Brightspace for course delivery
• Respond to student queries about coursework
• Attend initial instruction with Instructional Learning Online services re: Brightspace
• Participate in semester 7 course discussions within the program
• Develop and administer examinations
• Submission of grades
• Follow up with students as necessary
