INVENTORY AUDIT (#1618)

GRADE: 5

INVENTORY AUDIT-PERM AFTERNOON SHIFT

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Audit and verify all inventory receipts against Corporate financial records. Scheduled audits must be done to ensure and maintain accurate inventory by counting, verifying and correcting discrepancies.

Conduct cycle counts in accordance with product velocity targets.

Conduct investigative secondary cycle counts based on inventory adjustment tolerances.

Monitor inventory integrity balancing between Corporate (HH1) and Operations (WM).

Conduct outbound and inbound quality/accuracy checking.

Investigate Inventory discrepancies, Dealer claims resulting from shipping-picking errors.

Maintain accurate inventory integrity records and support auditing activities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Home Hardware distribution experience an asset.

Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, work independently.

Computer experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Manhattan Software with the ability to learn other applications.

Willingness to work extended hours.

Must be able and willing to operate lifts trucks and other material handling equipment.
