Reporting to the Senior Manager, Channel Marketing and Lead Management, the Retail Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for the strategy and execution of retail marketing plans to support all Rogers SMB products.  

The ideal candidate will strive for great work with every program and campaign that not only breaks through with innovative ideas but helps deliver against business objectives. They come prepared with analytical and competitive facts, and strategic thinking to support recommendations as solutions are brought forward.  

 

What you will do:

  • Work with a cross-functional team to create the Retail Channel Marketing strategy – develop and execute marketing programs to drive adoption of Rogers SMB products and services in retail stores.
  • Work closely with Retail sales to drive store traffic and sales conversions and to ensure strategic initiatives and quarterly campaigns are well executed within the retail channels.
  • Increase SMB presence and customer engagement within the Rogers Business Centres through experiential marketing including store events, lead generation, exclusive promotions, and content marketing.
  • Placement recommendation and planning of in-store merchandising and collateral to support SMB products.
  • Track, analyze and interpret sales activities and program results, making recommendations for future enhancements.
  • Incorporate the Rogers SMB value proposition in all sales and marketing-facing materials.
  • Support new products and solution launches in the Retail Channel and provide regional support for the Territory Sales managers.

 

What you will bring:

  • A minimum of 3 – 5 years of B2B Marketing experience.
  • Experience with wireless/internet/IoT portfolios and/or retail an asset.
  • Must be able to work in a professional, fast-paced environment and manage ambiguity.
  • A passion for B2B marketing, relationship management, and sales.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
  • Telecommunications and events experience an asset.
  • Understanding of social and digital platforms to promote events, including Facebook, Twitter, Yammer, LinkedIn.
