Your Opportunity

As a Senior Advisor in the Mining business line you will provide senior level support to various aspects of our business.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Sponsoring business line projects for project management team
• Providing technical input on teams, step change process
• Leveraging technology and innovation
• Translate client/business needs into effective business development strategies and corresponding marketing collateral and selling material
• Identification of major/strategic/transformational projects associated with top clients/prospects coming on line in the next one to three year horizon
• Identify cross-selling opportunities to grow business

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Knowledge of market assessment techniques, insights, and contacts
• Familiarity with industry trends and industry leaders
• Business development skills, including experience building and maintaining productive relationships with a client base (such experience within a consulting organization is considered a strong asset)
• Familiarity with Canadian jurisdictions and their various acts and regulations
• Ability to perform in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Willingness to travel to client offices/sites and other Stantec offices as required

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s in engineering with Professional designation
