The Senior System Administrator will be responsible for designing and supporting Cineplex’s server and storage infrastructure for both corporate and Field Operations, They will maintain core infrastructure services, both on-premise and in the cloud. The Senior System Administrator will additionally Support and Guide the rest of the D&T Operations Team and act as an escalation point for technical queries. 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Act as an escalation point for team member technical questions 

  • Day to Day ticket resolution 

  • Work with developers and application owners to support the deployment and improvement of internal applications. 

  • Responsible for the Maintenance, configuration and support of cloud Infrastructure. 

  • Manage Costs and Licensing for Cloud and Office 365 environment 

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues 

  • Responsible for the documentation and technical specifications for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure 

  • Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and performance 

  • Provide data and support for both internal and external Audit 

  • Evaluate new technology in order to improve stability, cost and performance. 



What You Will Need:

  • At least 5 years of experience supporting remote locations and working with a remote support utilities. 

  • At least 5 years of related experience with Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 

  • At least 5 years of virtualization experience 

  • At Least 5 years of Storage Infrastructure Experience 

  • At Least 2 Years Cloud Infrastructure support

  • Must be able to design, prepare and conduct new technology evaluations to determine infrastructure solutions based on business requirements and make recommendations for improvement of infrastructure, technology, operational capability, reliability and performance 

  • Must be proactive and possess strong interpersonal, customer service, communication, and organizational skills 

  •  Must possess excellent written and verbal presentation skills 

  • Must be able to operate in a busy environment and manage multiple projects and change with shifting priorities 

  • Must have a logical approach to troubleshooting issues that may not be within their area of expertise.
