As a Sponsorship Activation Advisor, you’ll develop and implement innovative and creative activations to promote National Bank, build relationships and make a positive impact on our target audiences.
This position reports to the Manager, Sponsorship Activation and Events, Client Experience and Digital.
In this role, you will:
- Participate in planning annual exploitation activities for corporate sponsorships to support marketing objectives
- Suggest sponsorship activation concepts tailored to the needs of business lines
- Implement field marketing strategies for our partnerships and sponsorships and ensure alignment with different stakeholders (communications, social media, media relations, regions, external agencies, etc.)
- Ensure that visibility requirements and obligations set out in sponsorship agreements are fulfilled and optimized
- Make sure schedules are followed, ensure the quality of deliverables and manage the budgets for each project
- Act as our eyes on the ground to ensure that execution is up to the required standards
Competencies required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience, OR master’s degree in a related field and 3 years of relevant experience
- Solid experience in a professional marketing role
- Experience in sponsorship activation or event marketing
- Experience as a project leader and/or project coordinator, an asset
- Experience in an advisory role
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight timeframes
- Attention to detail!
- Bilingualism, both spoken and written (English and French) OR as a minimal requirement being able to understand French perfectly, essential
