Talent Acquisition Advisor

Department: Human Resources

Location: Laval, QC 

Type: Temporary 6 months (possibility of extension), Full time

Hybrid Mode: 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely (open to full teleworking)

THE ROLE 

Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Consultant's main mandate will be to support the Human Resources team and managers in the staffing of administrative, professional and management positions for shared and corporate services. These teams include: Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Commercialization, IT, Real Estate, Construction, and many others!

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

Here are just a few ways that you’ll help make journeys better:  

  • Assume responsibility for the full cycle of the hiring process from the definition of needs with the manager to the onboarding of the candidate.

  • Accompany managers within the various departments in an expert advisory role (needs identification, strategy, interviewing techniques, talent acquisition process).

  • Recommend and implement best practices and recruitment strategies based on the needs of the company across Canada.

  • Keep abreast of new developments, trends and movements in the labour market in order to be proactive in the search for talent.

  • Act as a liaison with external recruiting firms.

  • Attend various activities ( salons, fairs, kiosks, recruitment events) as an ambassador for the company.

  • Participate in various projects related to talent attraction, including the development of the employer brand, the candidate experience and the visibility of our organization.

  • Find and identify potential candidates using recruitment platforms (social networks, professional networks, job fairs, etc.).

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 

We want you to join our team! Here’s what we’re looking for: 

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations or equivalent experience.

Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in recruitment, particularly in professional and management positions with a high volume of positions.

Skills:

  • Bilingual (French and English);

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with diverse partners and stakeholders;

  • Ability to manage multiple mandates in an organized, structured and rigorous work approach;

  • Customer service oriented;

  • Strong organizational skills and autonomy;

  • Dynamism and team spirit;

  • Expertise in working with social media and professional networks.
