SUMMARY 

The Transaction Associate provides assistance to the Senior Director RES and Transactions team in the timely execution of transactions activities, preparation and distribution of transactions-related forms, letters and reports

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

Scheduling

  • Creates and maintains key dates for leasing activities and notifies Transactions Manager of upcoming activities to assist with timely execution.

Management Support

  • Assists Transactions Managers in preparing property summaries.
  • Assists in the acquisitions of new locations for client’s distribution network.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepares and distributes reports including but not limited to Lease Report, Monthly and Quarterly Savings Reports, trade information, key performance indicators, etc.
  • Prepares lease transaction forms and letters including but not limited to trade record sheets, commission agreements, extension letters, etc.
  • Maintains leasing-related documentation templates such as forms, letters and commission agreements.
  • Maintains the lease renewal and comparable rental rates databases and ensures data integrity.
  • Maintains leasing files and ensures all required documentations are received and are accurate.
  • Prepares comparable reports for approval of deal terms by client.
  • Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • High school completion plus a business diploma or degree.
  • Ability to interpret and execute transactions-related forms and letters.
  • Ability to review and interpret lease documentations.
  • Ability to extract and compile data into reports.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel along with the ability to quickly learn proprietary databases.

Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation

  • Real Estate license an asset but not required.
  • Demonstrates an interest in attaining Real Estate License.
