Reporting to the Provost and Vice President Academic and working collaboratively with the vice-provostial and decanal teams, the Vice-Provost Academic Resources and Planning provides inspired leadership in ensuring that academic plans, resources and infrastructure are optimally aligned to support the academic mission and strategic vision of the College. As a member of the larger leadership team of the College, the Vice Provost serves as a critical conduit for effective integration across institutional divisions for the purpose of fostering coordinated approaches to deploying resources. With an overall purpose of ensuring that the academic division maintains a highly effective administrative environment, the VP develops and supports the adoption of practices, standards, that propels Sheridan's dynamic learning community.

What You’ll be Doing
The Vice Provost, Academic Resources and Planning ensures that divisional resources are aligned with Sheridan's strategic initiatives and applies creative vision and innovative tactics to evolve the overall administrative design of the academic division to optimize strategic capacity to deliver on these initiatives. This includes leadership and advise to the Provost on integrated divisional budgets, shared resources, streamlined administrative processes and procedures.
The VP works closely with the vice-provostial and decanal teams to cultivate and implement shared approaches and the right balancing of Faculty independence with divisional and institutional goals.
The VP, Academic Resources and Planning serves as the divisional lead for coordinated institutional priorities such as campus master plans, finance, integrated technologies, and HR initiatives.

You are a visionary and change-oriented leader. Experienced in leading teams, you work collaboratively with a wide variety of stakeholders and can clearly communicate messages that address different perspectives and levels of engagement of multiple audiences. You demonstrate a leadership style that is fair, helpful, and objective and you consistently demonstrate collegiality, sound judgement, and professionalism.
As the ideal candidate you will possess a master’s degree along with 9 years of highly developed leadership experience in a post-secondary setting.

Hiring Range: $165,263 - $175,591
