Fluor’s Mining and Metals Business line provides these engineering services to the mining industry globally with a focus on the engineering, procurement, and construction of processing and infrastructure facilities associated with the recovery of metals and minerals.
Scope

This position will provide support for any role in Project Document & Data Management (PDDM) in an efficient manner while maintaining effective communication with Project Client, Engineering Subcontractors, internal taskforce members and field personnel. This position is expected to supervise intermediate level full work processes and will work with the process throughout with a team or independently and learn high level processes on a smaller to larger project to work within a team or independently. This position could step in for an absent lead on a smaller project. With this experience level the individual would be able to give input to local office processes.

Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Participate in project task force meetings
• Contribute to, promote, and ensure effective knowledge sharing behaviors in the use of Fluor’s knowledge management portals and communities
• Review work of others for accuracy and timeliness
• May direct the work activity and training of junior roles
• May report directly to task force engineering manager
• Responsible for compliance dictated by client regarding maintenance of related documentation
• Responsible for electronic receipt, recording, tracking reporting, and disposition of related documents in a timely manner
• Perform basic PDDM problem solving, duties, and analytic tasks
• Interface with groups inside and outside the organization
• May be required to give presentations to clients, projects, or management
• Analysis of execution reporting such as engineering, supplier data, squad check progress
• Provide instruction to execution to improve quality
• May be required to support Site PDDM
• May be required to interact with third party or Client interactions
• Could be asked to attend Supplier or Contract kickoff meetings
• Generate project standard reports
• Is part of the Lead Office project operations team
• Adhere to and support Fluor’s Operational System Requirements (OSR) and any office Operating System Implementation Plan (OSIP)
• Contribute to, promote, and ensure effective knowledge sharing behaviors in the use of Fluor’s knowledge management portals and communities
• Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
• Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
• Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff
• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
• Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
• Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job
• May need to travel to attend to business related matters
• Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
• Other duties as assigned
