JFJV are seeking a Permit to Work Manager to join the LNGC project and lead the PTW team in Kitimat, British Columbia. Reporting to the HSSE Programs Manager, the successful candidate will undertake regular and ongoing liaison and coordination with the Construction, HSSE, Field engineering and Environmental teams to ensure all controls for Life Critical Tasks are implemented and work is safe to begin.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Implement day to day operations of the Permit to Work system for construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
• Ensure activities are undertaken in accordance with project and company procedures
• Facilitate or attend management meetings and report on permit process and department information as relevant
• Lead, train, develop and motivate the Permit to Work team to support construction activities and embed total project performance principals
• Manage and coach the Permit to Work team to maximize capability and allow for cross shift coverage and succession planning
• Oversee the Permit to Work team activities involving, but not limited to:
• Review submitted permit to work documents and packages
• Coordinate with Contractor to assure that contents of permit is complete and applicable
• Coordinate and confirm scope with covered by permit and ensure Area Authority is notified
• Coordinate with Field engineering team to verify all technical aspects of permit
• Coordinate with HSSE manager to verify all aspects of permit are in compliance
• Coordinate with Field Engineering, Technical Services team, Lockout/Tagout Authorities as required
• Coordinate with Environmental Coordinator to verify all environmental aspects of permit
• Coordinate with Field supervision and contractors to obtain sign off of permit
