Reporting to the Tools and Equipment Manager, this role entails working with multiple subcontractors supervising daily activities of subcontractors. The Supervisor will oversee all aspects of the scaffold Material Contractor. Supervisor will ensure contractor compliance to the safe operations of the scaffold yard and material packaging and delivery. preparation of overall policies and procedures and ensuring safe work practices are being followed.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Supports the Site Equipment and Tools Manager in the following:
• Oversee the contractor’s daily safe operations ensuring compliance to site rules policies and procedures.
• Maintain, monitor and track inventory levels of scaffold across site.
• Work with Construction Managers to forecast overall scaffold requirements and ensure contractor meets material requirements to and manage any shortfalls.
• Report on scaffold KPIs to Site Equipment Manager and Construction Managers
• Supervisor will develop the policies and procedures for scaffolding on site.
• Manage scaffold contractor to ensure performance
• Ensure contractor is adhering to all federal and provincial scaffold regulations.
• Develop procedures for scaffold yard operations for packaging builds, material pickups and deliveries and returns.
• Ensure scaffold design process is being adhered to through the peri scaffold System.
• Develop tracking methods and implement as required. Track scaffold equipment orders through proprietary software program and excel.
• Ensure scaffold equipment meets application and advise when scaffold equipment does not, or other if other scaffold equipment may be better suited for requested application.
• Understand change management concepts and when to enact change management.
• Experience with managing contracts and working within a contract.
• Supervise field activities related to daily tasks to ensure proper and timely completion.
• Manage overall utilization tracking of scaffold equipment and create efficiencies where possible.
