Background

The Senior Management team in charge of Enterprise API & Orchestration is a cross-sector unit that offers IT Enablers to the various delivery towers at the Bank. The team provides accelerators for delivery tower projects and helps them implement best practices.

We work in two ways:

  • Operational
  • Project

Senior Management is made up of the following teams:

  • API & Marketplace: Works on API practices and manages Marketplace governance.
  • Workflow: Uses Control-M to help various clients plan and orchestrate their workflow.
  • Data flow: Uses MFT to help various internal and external clients with file transfers.
  • Business Process Services (BPS): Uses Camunda to help various clients roll out their business processes and follow BPMN best practices and orchestration templates.

Your role

As an Asset Orchestration Manager (MFT, CTRL-M, Camunda), you will: 

  • Manage the team (objectives, career plan, etc.)
  • Manage projects for development and operational teams of 10-20 people (analysts, developers, scrum masters)
  • Ensure that governance, strategies, migrations and practices are implemented
  • Take initiatives to help settle any issues and meet stakeholder challenges
  • Manage and coordinate inter-project dependencies
  • Ensure that all project changes are integrated, i.e., technical, procedural or organizational
  • Streamline interventions and coordination with satellite teams involved in the project
  • Support the teams’ work performance by encouraging them to be proactive in adopting best practices for collaboration and transparency in order to better understand their contribution to achieving business objectives
  • Manage the project logistics, such as preparing phases and steps, managing sourcing, reserving environments, etc.
  • Ensure that project management methodology and risk management governance are applied at all levels of the project
  • Raise and manage the risks and issues inherent to the project, paying close attention to the risks related to the Agile approach.

Required skills

  • At least 10 years of experience in IT project management
  • Strong, inspiring leadership, focusing on retaining/developing employees
  • At least 5 years of experience in portfolio management in a large business
  • Knowledge of the SDLC development cycle and development methodologies (traditional, agile and iterative)
  • Technological literacy in BPMN, MFT, Scheduler (Control-M), JAVA, API, DevOps, monitoring, cloud (AWS), etc.
  • Known as an influential person with recognized policy skills
  • Ability to coach, excellent listening skills
  • Functionally bilingual, spoken and written (English and French).
