Reporting to the Senior Web Manager, the Web Career Advisor is responsible for the enrollment and subsequent follow-up of new students for each start date.  This position requires an individual who understands the ever-changing trends and needs in customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Sprott Shaw’s Admissions Code of Conduct, policies, and procedures
  • Respond to prospective students’ telephone and internet inquiries
  • Schedule admission appointments and follow up with prospective students
  • Ensure new student retention in conjunction with the academic department
  • Provide exemplary customer service
  • Complete all necessary web admissions reports
  • Attend all admissions meetings and training sessions
  • Flexible hours - must be able to work some evenings and weekends

Qualifications and Education

  • Post-secondary education
  • 2 years of administrative experience

Skills

  • Knowledge of MS Office and database systems
