National Bank is ramping up its IT transformation. We're in the middle of an Agile and DevOps shift that relies on a cultural evolution where teams are increasingly multidisciplinary and autonomous. We’re also focusing on implementing synchronized Agile teams as part of a new operating model.

Through this transformation, we're seeking to broaden our knowledge of Agile practices. We’re committed to optimizing various Agile practices while building on the skills of multiple stakeholders.

We’re looking to harness the talent of an Agile Practice Advisor/Coach to join the Corporate Services IT Delivery team. You will help implement the new operating model and be responsible for strengthening the agility practices of the sector’s delivery squads.

You will serve as a leader and recognized expert. You will play a role in achieving the Bank’s strategic objectives, in particular by serving as an ambassador for Agile principles. You will demonstrate strong leadership and influence with stakeholders. You will support key project participants to guide strategic discussions, integration and optimization of Agile transformation activities.

Your role

• Help make the Agile teams more efficient, especially by putting in place relevant metrics
• Act as a professional resource person in the Agile transformation, in terms of both soft skills and expertise
• Identify the vision, objectives and KPIs for the Corporate Services sector
• Communicate the progress of the sector’s Agile transformation
• Support teams in implementing an Agile work framework that is relevant for the targeted teams ((Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
• Influence the definition and evolution of Agile practices
• Identify weaknesses and propose concrete, effective actions to address gaps
• Align the sector’s orientations with those of the Agile work team to ensure that a smooth, effective and efficient work model is adopted
• Recommend other appropriate tools.

Your profile

• Completed Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience or completed Master's degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong leadership skills and able to influence others at all levels
• Experience as an Agile coach and Scrum Master in delivering software solutions
• Knowledge of the banking and financial industry
• Able to structure and conduct meetings with participants from different fields and of different levels; able to summarize and communicate in laymen's terms
• Excellent communication, influence and negotiation skills
• Leadership and multi-tasking skills
• Team player
• French (spoken and written), knowledge of English, an asset.
