The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences in the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, invites applications for the position of an Assistant Professor  in a three-year contractually limited position (April 1, 2022 to June 30, 2025).
 
The successful candidate for this position will have a PhD degree(s) and is expected to be involved in graduate education to foster and encourage growth within the area of children’s mental health.  They will have a demonstrated research interest in the areas of Refugees and Immigrant children’s mental health, parenting and family processes, and global parenting initiatives, and will be expected to generate the majority of their income through successful grant applications.
 
The appointee will hold a full-time academic appointment in Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at an academic rank appropriate to their credentials and experience.  This position is affiliated with the Offord Centre for Child Studies.
