We’re looking for a part-time Integrated Playout Operator.

 

What you will do…

  • You will be monitoring and maintain multiple channels ensuring that all content airs correctly and ensuring that our broadcast quality meets all technical requirements.
  • Support all daily requirements in Master Control.
  • Manage on-air playlists and ensure scheduled assets are available
  • Investigate on-air issues and provide detailed discrepancy reports.
  • Solve on-air problems and assist the engineering team to trouble shoot technical issues.
  • Liaise with Programming, Client Services, and Production for planning and last-minute changes.
  • Monitor and maintain broadcast signals for distribution over all media platforms
  • Monitoring and maintain multiple channels ensuring that all content airs correctly and ensuring that our broadcast quality meets all technical requirements
  • Perform on-air switching and playlist management within Master Control.
  • Oversee technical setup and daily routing of live broadcast signals.
  • Adhere to all broadcast policies & procedures internal or external (CRTC)

 

What you will bring...

  • The ability to work independently, react quickly and decisively while always following instructions provided by other departments.
  • Excellent understanding of studio and remote production.
  • Ability to react quickly in a fast-paced broadcast environment.

  • Experience with Imagine Automation in a server-based Master Control Environment.
  • Working knowledge of VPMS including Media Portal, Scheduling UI and booking form
