Job Description:

The Allied Health Department is seeking a part-time instructor for the Cardiovascular Technology Program.

We are seeking instructors for the following courses:

  • Ambulatory Monitoring

  • 12-Lead ECG Interpretation

  • Stress Testing

  • Introduction to Cardiovascular Technology and Equipment Maintenance

Required Qualifications

  • Registered with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT)

  • Minimum of (3) three years of practical industry experience in cardiac technology;

  • Knowledge of emerging and current trends in cardiac technology;

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;

  • Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, ability to adapt to change, excellent team player, ability to work independently and meet deadlines;

  • Experience in using the Philips® Holter Scanning software is asset;

  • Experience in teaching or training in an education environment is asset.

This job requires occasional or regular onsite work in accordance with Policy HS 16.
