WHAT YOU WILL DO

• You will be a Principal Product Owner at BlackBerry working on Data Loss Prevention capabilities as part of BlackBerry’s broader cyber security offering.

• Take market requirements and translate them into detailed technical user stories which the UX designers and engineering teams can implement effectively and efficiently.

• Work with external and internal stakeholders to perform market analysis and customer needs analysis.

• Take on the definition & work prioritization with development scrum teams to ensure new features are delivered on time and with the right scope.

• Collaborate and interface with product management, UX designers, architects and engineering teams across BlackBerry to ensure new features and products are aligned with company direction and are positioned to deliver significant customer value.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• A data security expert with deep and broad understanding of the current cybersecurity industry and solutions, including threat assessment, prevention and remediation

• Experience with DLP, EDR/XDR specifically is a definite asset.

• Min 5 years of experience in a technical Product Owner role.

• Experience as a Product Owner in an Agile work environment.

• Demonstrated team player and strong leadership skills.

• Degree in Computer Science; equivalent technical degree or diploma program.

• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal / presentation) for (technical and non-technical) including senior leadership at C-level.

• Understanding of data regulation and compliance a plus.

• Experience  building out cloud functionality and integrations via modern API’s is a plus.

• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts is an asset.
