WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • You will work on BlackBerry’s Linux Server security products.
  • Take market requirements and translate them into detailed technical user stories which the engineering teams can implement effectively.
  • Work with external and internal stakeholders to perform market analysis and customer needs analysis.
  • Take on the definition & work prioritization with development scrum teams to ensure new features are delivered on time and in scope.
  • Collaborate and interface with product management and engineering teams across BlackBerry to ensure new features and products are aligned with company direction and are positioned to deliver significant customer value.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Someone with a deep and broad understanding of current cybersecurity industry and solutions, including threat assessment, prevention and remediation. (EPP, EDR, NDR, UES, XDR)
  • Security-related experience on Linux and container security (Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Experience with CWPP products specifically is a definite asset.
  • Min 8 years of experience in a technical Product Owner role.
  • Experience as a Product Owner in an Agile work environment.
  • Demonstrated team player and strong leadership skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science; equivalent technical degree or diploma program.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal / presentation) for (technical and non-technical) including senior leadership at C-level.
