A career in technology at National Bank means participating in the transformation to have a direct impact on the client. As a Senior Project Portfolio Management Consultant, you will be in charge of acting as a consultant to the Wealth Management and Capital Markets (WMCM) Vice Presidency. 

Your role:

  • Analyse and give advice to guide decisions in terms of manpower strategies and prioritization of the PM project portfolio
  • Understand project and management issues and identify stakeholder needs and propose strategies
  • Influence strategic directions as well as the evolution of practices related to your professional area to ensure their consistency with the directions of the organization as a whole

More specifically, you will :

  • Implement and communicate the Asset Management business model (From demand management to prioritization process)
  • Own the demand management process within the area, its operation, adherence and compliance.
  • Track resource requests with managers and ensure they are well documented
  • Ensure the proper functioning of the resource request approval process, its optimization and adoption
  • Oversee and coordinate the completion of interdependent tracking activities with cross-functional capabilities of the bank
  • Use a variety of presentation techniques to communicate with stakeholders (PM, Managers, APM, HR partners, Finance...)
  • Analyze monthly variances in workforce management, find explanations and implement actions to address them with APMs
  • Support managers in the GDMO process
  • Lead the analysis in capacity for new projects or requests
  • Ensure a high level of quality of analyses and recommendations
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and presentations
  • Propose and/or optimize capacity and workforce management tools and processes in general
  • Ensure the quality of the PM project portfolio information (description, executive summary, risks and issues...)

You will report directly to the Director of Transformation. You will play a key role in the integration of newcomers. Wealth Management and Financial Markets is a growing industry.

Your profile:

  • Completion of a bachelor's degree in a related field with 7 to 10 years of experience
  • Experience in project portfolio management
  • Knowledge of : Jira, PowerBI, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of the IT project management cycle
  • Knowledge of financials / budget RTB and CTB
  • Knowledge of the SAFe Framework
  • Autonomous and well structured
  • Analytical skills
  • Priority management
  • Leadership
