WHAT YOU’LL DO 

Reporting to the Director of Mergers, Acquisitions and Business Development, the Senior Financial Analyst will:

• Evaluate acquisitions and venture opportunities and assist in the preparation of executive materials;

• Build and analyze cash flow models of target companies to support valuations;

• Participate in discussions and meetings with target companies, as required;

• Analyze information in data rooms, collect data from target or publicly available companies;

• Assist in coordinate due diligence process with multi-disciplinary teams;

• Review closing and ancillary transaction agreements.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 

We want you to join our team! Here’s what we’re looking for: 

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, economics or related field;

• Thorough understanding of valuation methods and concepts;

• Very comfortable reading and understanding financial statements. CPA is an asset;

• Proven ability to build and navigate through financial models is a must;

• Merger and acquisition experience included knowledge of all phases of the acquisition process;

• Early investment experience and knowledge of venture markets is an asset;

• Ability to synthesis data for transmission to senior executives;

• Bilingualism essential, French and English; good communication skills, written and oral;

• High level of motivation, attention to detail and intellectual curiosity;

• Strong knowledge of MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is a must.
