The Senior Registration Officer is responsible for the evaluation and approval of all registration applications by ensuring all regulatory requirements pertaining to proficiency, experience, integrity, conflicts of interest and client service are met, as required under the IIROC Rule Book, National Instruments and the Securities Acts and Regulations across Canada. In the course of this assessment, the Senior Registration Officer helps IIROC carry out its mandate to protect investors by ensuring that individuals meet the “fit and proper” standard of approval and registration.
