Overview:

As the Senior Sales Strategy & Operations Manager, you will be a key strategic partner in ensuring that the Sales organization has the necessary information to operate and execute effectively. The right candidate will be a strong leader who draws upon solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to analyze initiatives, processes, and provide recommendations for improvement. The individual will have deep experience in sales processes and tools, calling upon her/his experiences in Salesforce CRM systems, sales quota and territory assignment, and analytics to assist in supporting a world class Sales Team. You will have oral and written communication skills enabling you to dive deep into the data to find answers, and to summarize the data into a logical analysis that ensures all stakeholders are informed and aligned.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to sales leaders on critical strategic, organizational, and operational projects designed to increase revenue, sales productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Support company-level strategy-setting, GTM, and planning efforts.
  • Lead activities related to Sales Territory, Quota, and Compensation planning, design, and maintenance.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Sales and Compensation teams to assist with the reconciliation of sales compensation plans, payments, and disputes.
  • Analyze sales processes and mechanisms for sub-optimal performance, with a focus on defect reduction and productivity. Communicate findings clearly and effectively and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and user stories, propose solutions, evaluate feasibility, technology assessment, ROI and complexity for a wide variety of potential process and system solutions.
  • Identify reporting issues, gaps in processes, and drive timely resolution
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis, and support related projects as needed
  • Work with and influence stakeholders at all levels across Sales, Marketing, and Finance.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of professional experience in strategy & operations in highly analytical environments.
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com and strong knowledge of compensation and CRM related platforms, systems, and tools such as Clari, Xactly, Dun & Bradstreet, and ZoomInfo.
  • Proven ability to drive impact in a complex, fast-paced environment - Organized, detail-oriented and strategically focused.
  • Demonstrated problem solving experience providing data-driven business insights in positions that require forecasting and planning, including the ability to manage large volumes of data as key inputs to resource planning and territory/account alignment.
  • Advanced in creating and managing models and scenario analysis in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with SQL and Power BI/Tableau is a plus
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities
