Microsoft Viva is an employee experience platform that brings together communications, knowledge, learning, resources, and insights in the flow of work. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex features, emphasizing quality, performance, simplicity, durability, scalability, and maintainability. 
  • Be an effective team player through involvement in rapid prototyping, feature development and service fundamentals/system health monitoring.  
  • Review and contribute to the code/packages written by other team members. 
  • Collaborate with Principal Engineers to contribute to the overall technical strategy and alignment of Microsoft Viva.  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of software design and development experience in software development.
  • 2+ years of experience with C#, C++, Java, Python, or equivalent programming language.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong technical abilities around design, coding, rapid prototyping, debugging, and problem-solving
  • Excellent verbal, written and cross-group collaboration and communication skills
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent field experience
  • Experience working with distributed systems/microservices architectures
  • Ability to work on cross-platform code
  • Commitment to deliver the best experience for customers
