Fluor’s Mining and Metals Business line provides these engineering services to the mining industry globally with a focus on the engineering, procurement, and construction of processing and infrastructure facilities associated with the recovery of metals and minerals.

Scope
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the contracts and project team as a whole for a large international mining project assuring compliance with all statutes, regulations, and contract terms and conditions of the assigned contracts.

You possess the skill sets to contribute by:
• Interfacing with project team to develop contracting strategies and schedules.
• Pre-qualification and selection of bidders.
• Development of RFP documents and coordinating necessary project review and approvals.
• Managing the bidding process, including RFP explanation meetings, preparation of addenda and receipt of bids.
•Participate in the negotiation of contract terms and conditions, coordinate technical scopes of work including interface with all project disciplines (project controls, legal services, project management, construction, engineering, finance/accounting, and client)
• Managing and participating in the evaluation process through to award recommendation.
• Preparing the final contract document for execution.
• Perform contract management post-award activities through evaluating and status contractors’ productivity, schedule adherence, contract change management, invoicing and claims avoidance
• Perform closeout of contracts, finalize outstanding contract issues, issue of final modifications, invoices and coordinate completion of contractor performance evaluations
• Interface with all levels of the project team – and be able to represent and interface with all levels of internal and/or external management and corporate organization persons
