Job Description:

Prospr by Sun Life is an internal startup and a growth channel for Sun Life. It is a hybrid offering – a mix of personal advice supported by a robust technology platform. Prospr offers personal advice from salaried advisors available by phone for extended hours. These advisors are licensed in both insurance and wealth and familiar with financial planning.

What will you do?

(Approx. 60%): Leads Operations and Reporting

  • Own and manage the Leads process and lead source recommendations by reviewing blocks of leads recommended to Prospr, managing the data associated with these leads, and forwarding chosen leads to Advisor teams to contact

  • Pull and summarize lead reports and presenting insights across the team

  • Track client engagement, cost per acquired sale and other lead success measures, assist with problem solving and testing out new approaches to enable success

  • With other team members, define project plans including objectives, work streams, owners, and milestones to execute Prospr leads strategy and planning

  • Organize and successfully work with cross-functional team to research, analyse and develop and present recommendations on lead sources, appropriate mix of lead sources, and campaigns to senior leadership

  • Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support the achievement of deliverables and overall objectives

  • Support salesforce CRM usage and queries by Prospr team, especially advisors

  • Help develop and maintain a database (Microsoft Access) to track Clients and prospects

(Approx. 40%); Campaign Management

  • Plan, set up, and execute digital campaigns (emails to prospects and Clients) in accordance with the strategy and objectives of Prospr

  • Leverage personas, customer journeys and data strategies to develop and implement marketing automation programs

  • Gather, document, and help form business requirements, key performance indicators, and other functional and technical requirements

  • Create high quality client experience through use of digital channels, interactive journeys and triggered engagements

  • Support Prospr throughout the campaign implementation process. To do this effectively will include selection of recipients, preparation of email deployment, testing and executing on these campaigns

  • Collaborate with internal teams who are experts on campaign management

  • Evaluate success of campaigns, and set up future campaigns and A/B tests

What you need to succeed?

  • Prior in-depth experience with Salesforce CRM

  • Advanced experience with Excel (macros, V-lookups, pivot tables etc.)

  • A deep passion for customer experience and a track record of creating quantifiable growth and demand generation through different channels, like performance marketing, landing pages, email marketing and SEO/content marketing

  • Ability to prioritize and meet tight timelines in a complex and challenging business environment

  • Leadership and influencing capabilities, ability to effectively manage relationships across the organization to deliver against objectives

  • Proven balance of analytical and creative problem-solving skills, ability to focus on the critical business issues in a data-driven and fact-based manner

  • Experience in direct B2C, business development and building client acquisition capabilities such as lead generation, prospect nurturing and lead management

  • Customer success, client management, or relevant industry experience

  • BComm or other degree in relevant fields

  • Bilingual in French and English an asset

  • Start-up experience in customer success, client management, prospect identification and bringing new products to market an asset

  • Relevant financial services experience (e.g. Marketing, Strategy, Idea Management, Lead Generation, Innovation, Digital Transformation, Analytics) an asset

  • 3+ years experience in related field

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted.  It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.  In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.  Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
