SUMMARY
:

The People & Compensation Analyst will primarily be accountable for analytical insights to support strategic and operational decisions. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Total Rewards, this individual will be responsible for managing our people and compensation data, reporting, analytics, and governance in addition to the continuous support and enhancement of our HRIS. The People & Compensation Analyst will also help support various Total Rewards programs such as rewards and recognition programs. This role requires a passion for numbers and data analysis, with a flexible attitude to take on special projects.

 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Support various people & compensation analytics and reporting responsibilities, including the management, development, and delivery of dashboards and reports.
  • Respond to employee requests and enquiries related to compensation and benefit programs.
  • Support the administration of compensation programs, including the annual compensation cycle and the implementation of compensation-related policies and programs.
  • Assist with compensation surveys and provide data analysis to support the development and maintenance of competitive programs and policies.
  • Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis.
  • Participate in special projects as required.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

Required level of education and job-related experience:

  • Completion of a relevant degree/diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or Finance.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations affecting compensation and recognition programs.
What you need to be successful:
  • Excellent analytical skillset with a keen eye for detail and have a passion for data-driven insights.
  • Must be able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders – including Finance, Payroll and senior executives – and ensure that the business outcomes are being achieved.
  • Advanced analytical functions in MS Excel to conduct data management and analysis of large data sets.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Knowledge of applicable Human Resources and compensation/benefits-related legislation and regulations.
  • Experience using an HRIS system (we use ADP Workforce Now).
