The successful candidate can expect to have extensive growth and career opportunities including being responsible for the technical integrity of pipeline hydraulics work, working independently on assigned projects, providing guidance and functioning as a mentor. Your experience should ideally include FEED, Detailed Engineering, and EPC.

Job Description:
• Review and understand the Design Basis and Project Execution Plan
• Document and develop design basis information and process design criteria
• Conduct studies using licensed software packages covering pipeline simulation which may include SPS, AFT Fathom / Impulse, Pipephase, Pipesim, Pipeline Studio, and OLGA.
• Develop and optimize pipeline hydraulic designs for mainlines and pipeline facilities
• Simulate Steady State pipeline hydraulics
• Simulate Transient pipeline hydraulics
• Simulate Multiphase pipeline hydraulics
• Determine pipeline capacity and facility sizes/locations
• Simulate operational performance of pipelines
• Conversant with pipeline alignment sheets
• Participate in MAOP calculations
• Develop and review PFDs and P&IDs
• Participate in plot plan reviews and HAZOP reviews
• Supervise junior hydraulics/mechanical engineers
• Understand and assure compliance with applicable local and federal codes and regulations
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, employees and vendors/subcontractors
