A career in the Custody Operations team at National Bank is an opportunity to put your expertise to work in the evolution and execution of the Financial Markets and Wealth Management business strategy. With your involvement in the various processes related to the settlement of securities transactions, you participate in the transformation of the Bank.

Being an analyst in Operations means collecting, analyzing, and interpreting a variety of data. It is also to interact with the different sectors of the Bank and more experienced professionals in order to offer technical support of a current nature to the stakeholders in the day-to-day operations.  It's about having the opportunity to learn and grow within a team that values customer satisfaction, performance, collaboration and innovation.

We offer a possibility of working from home in hybrid. This position reports to Marc Saba, Director of the Custody Operations team. You will collaborate daily with a team composed of several expert analysts and coordinators.

Your job :

  • Act as a point of contact for the business line account managers, internal and external portfolio managers and other operational teams
  • Respond to various requests mainly by email, but also by phone
  • Manage the follow-up of complex cases of settlement of transactions and bank payment.
  • Maintain quality communications with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze the information gathered and explain discrepancies and make recommendations to resolve issues.
  • Master the end-to-end of the various processes related to the custody of value in order to provide quality support.

 

Job requirements

  • Three-year college diploma or equivalent, related to the industry and three years of relevant work experience
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Experience in continuous improvement, an asset
  • Knowledge of financial market business processes
  • Knowledge of financial concepts, an asset
  • Knowledge of systems: Global Office, Avis, GBCorpo, an asset
  • Knowledge of the Office suite
  • Bilingual (spoken/written) French and English, essential
